Sweet Tooth Festival Charlotte


Yesterday, Charlotte celebrated it's first festival of all things sweet. Sweet Tooth Festival came together at BlackLion in Charlotte, North Carolina where over 20 purveyors of all kinds of sweetness helped raise money & awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease, also known as ALS. Having lost my mother to ALS last April, this festival was both fun & therapeutic to organize as production of Rachel Sutherland Communications, Charlotte's premier boutique marketing firm. This was a sold out event & you could see the joy on everyone's faces as they sampled the goods. Vendors offered up everything from cake balls to cupcakes to savory cupcakes to almonds. Each attendee received a passport, swag bag & a 'to go' container. A portion of the proceeds benefited The Joe Martin ALS Foundation.
