I happened upon an expected project. My late aunt Peggy's jewelry box. The external box was long gone but the drawers & their contents remained. A tattered mess I would say honestly, small off white drawers, filled with jewelry. At a glance the items appeared to be junk. However, under closer inspection, beautiful vintage pieces started to emerge. The woman who once wore them passed away when I was in high school, some 25 years ago, but time had not diminished this rare glimpse into the past. I was allowed to experience Aunt Peggy's sense of style, love of God, belief in civil rights & favorite colors.
